Office Closed The Town Hall will be closed on July 1st. Regular office hours are Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 8AM to Noon and 1:30 to 4PM. Thank You. Society Cascapedia On the Lake Branch on the Cascapedia River, the fishing is free for children under 18 when accompanied by an adult. Please come into the Cascapedia Society office for more information or call 418-392-5079. Fire Rating If you would like to keep up to date on the fire rating for our area and other information regarding the forests and fire, you can log on to www.inflammable.ca the site is full of useful information available in both English and French. Invitation to the Sector On Sunday, July 11th there will be a mass for the sector at the catholic Church in New Richmond at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of their parish. Come, let us celebrate together! 50+ Club The Club will be having three BBQ’s this summer held at the 50+ Club Hall 319 Route 299. The dates of which are July 3rd, August 7th and September 11th from 11AM to 1PM, the cost is $8 per adult and $5 per child under 12. There will be Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and salads. Everyone is welcome. Thank you for your support. Cascapedia River Museum The Lady Amherst Tea Room is now open. Come in and check it out! We have much more than just Tea, Kathy’s terrific homemade soup, and the Rivers Shirley-Temple are back, as well as last years favourite, the Brownie Supreme. We are open 7 days a week from 10am to 4pm. We look forward to welcoming you!	Temporary Exhibition 2010 at the Cascapedia River Museum Peter Corbin – Three Rivers One Artist’s View Ten years ago, the Cascapedia River Museum opened it’s doors to the public and since that time we have undertaken many challenges and welcomed thousands of visitors to our cultural site. Peter Corbin and special guests officially launched the 10th Anniversary Celebrations and the 2010 Temporary Exhibitions on June 25th. There will be many events taking place over the summer months to underline this important milestone, drop in at the Museum or follow our blog at cascapediarivermuseum.wordpress.com. Corn Boil – On August 1st, the Legion will be having a Corn Boil at the Legion Hall 55 route Gallagher from 11:30 to 1:30. Everyone is welcome!

Softball
Here is the softball schedule for the summer:

8-11 years – Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 pm.

12-15 years – Tuesday from 7 to 8 with games on Sunday or Monday.
