Office Closed
The Municipal Offices will be closed on December 21st, 23rd, 24th, 28th, 30th and 31st.  We will be open on Jan. 4th, 2011.  Thank You.

Public Meeting
December 14th at 7:00PM there will be a public meeting regarding the adoption of the Municipal Budget for 2011.  Everyone is welcome.

Fifty Plus Club
Friday, December 3rd at 7PM, the 50 Plus Club will be having their annual Christmas Concert, come out and enjoy Christmas Carols sung by children and adults alike. Wednesday, December 8th at 7PM the AGM for the 50 Plus Club will be held, we are looking for new directors.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Memberships for 2011 are now due, the fee is $10.  **You do not have to be 50 or over to support the Club, anyone can be a member.  You may give your dues to any director or bring it to the Bingo on Tuesday night or Dame de Pique on Friday night.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

We would like to thank all those involved with our annual card party.  A special thank you to the people who came and helped, donated items, the businesses for their generous contributions, and the people who came to enjoy the afternoon.  The proceeds, $900 were given to the Church.

Eagle’s Club
The Eagle’s Club would like to thank the Fall Festival Committee for their generous donation of $2, 500.  It will be well used for the upkeep of the buildings, rink and ball field.
Santa Claus is coming to Town!

Sunday, December 5th at 1 PM, Santa will be at the Community Center, 55 Gallagher Rd.  Santa hopes to see all

of the children there to greet him.  Everyone is welcome!  Merry Christmas and thank you for your support during the year.
Eagles’s Club

Christmas Baskets
Please note that on December 5th starting at 10 AM, the “Guignolés”
will be passing to collect your donation of non-perishable food items
in preparation for the baskets.  *Please Note:  We are in need of help, drivers and children are needed to go door to door.  Please call Joan at 392-4032 if you can give of your time.  Thank you.

Fall Festival Report
The 2010 Edition of the Fall Festival made a profit of $9, 445.33.  Donations were made to the following groups:  Cascapedia-St-Jules Fire Dept. - $2 500, Eagles Club $2 500, The 50 Plus Club $2 500, New Richmond High School Secondary I & II $250, and The Grand Cascapedia Women’s Institute $250.  Also, Legion Branch #172 made a nice profit off of sales at the Cantine, and the Rotary Club kept all profits made from the brunch. Thank You to All!

Legion Branch #172
Will be holding a 50’s Dance on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31st beginning at 8PM at the Community Center.  The cost is $25 per couple and $15 per single.  Prizes will be given and light refreshments will be served.  Advanced tickets are available by contacting Gail Martin-Harrison 392-2725 or Val Chaloux 392-5867.
