Cascapedia River Museum

Welcome to another season at the Museum. The temporary exhibition for 2008 will be The Cascapedia Giants and will highlight the big fish that have been taken from the Cascapedia River.  This exhibition will be open from June 24 to September 30.  The Lady Amherst Tea Room will open for the season on June 24th and once again we will be able to enjoy Kathy’s homemade scones and cinnamon rolls.  A new DVD titled The Cascapedia River Museum has just been completed and is available to anyone wishing to support the Museum and our Fund Raising Campaign.  This production features more than a dozen live interviews as well as scenes from the ice cutting on the river and releasing

salmon back into the river after spawning in the fall.  The local community can get a copy by buying their membership card for the Museum.  Everyone else can acquire a copy by making a donation to the Museum.  This would also make a great gift for anyone away from home.  Be a part of it!!
