Office Closed The Town Hall will be closed on July 1st and the afternoon of July 17th. Regular hours are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8AM to 12 & 1:15 to 4PM. Thank you. Thank you A very warm and heartfelt Thank You is sent to Trudy and Jenna from your «SoftBall Kids» and their parents and to Shelley who helps out with the younger children. You are great coaches and we really appreciate the time and effort you are investing in us. Thank you also to Josh Willett for his Umpire duties at our home games. HANDICRAFTS If you are interested in displaying and selling your arts or handicrafts at the Handicraft Boutique in New Richmond (210 boul Perron), call Betty MacWhirter at 392-4132. Barbeque The 50 Plus Club will be holding their annual Barbeque on Saturday, July 12th from 11AM to 1PM at the 50 Plus Club Hall, 319 route 299. Price: $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under. Hotdogs, hamburgers and salads will be served. Everyone is welcome. Thank you for your support. Fall Festival – Go Karts The Go Kart races held during the Fall Festival are heating up; we have even heard that the Sûreté may have a cart to enter this year. If you want to participate, get working on yours. |
Cascapedia Enterprises If you have any used oil, oil filters or oil containers, you can now bring them to Dennis at Cascapedia Enterprises. There are proper containers so that these items can be disposed of correctly, so please do not throw them in the garbage or recycling. Thank You. Cascapedia River Museum The Lady Amherst Tea Room is now open. Come in and check it out, we have much more than just Tea, and this year there are some new items on the menu. We are open 7 days a week from 8am to 4pm. We look forward to welcoming you! Didymo algae Just a reminder to stay vigilant concerning the Didymo algae by continuing to clean your equipment and your waders. There has been algae spotted in the brooks along the river, but samples were examined and it was not Didymo. If other algae are spotted please contact the office at 392-5079. We must work together to protect our Natural Resources. Do you have mushrooms in your yard? If you do, and would like them identified, please call Marc‑André Bernard at 759‑3110.
