Office Hours
The Municipal Offices are open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8AM to Noom and from 1:15 to 4PM.  However, from April 14th to the 24th inclusive, the offices will be closed as we will be moving into the new building.

OOOOPPPSSS
It was brought to our attention that we owe a special apology to Miss. Erika Bujold for misspelling her name last month.  We are very sorry for the mistake.

Reminder
We would like to remind everyone of the importance of notifying your insurance company of the new address of our fire dept.  75 Gallagher Road.  The Fire Department has officially moved to the new fire hall, so if you have not done it, you should make the phone call today.

New Truck and Official Opening: Our new fire truck will be ready around the end of April, and during the month of May we will be having an official opening of the Town Hall and Fire Hall.  Watch your newsletter for the date.

Church Dues for 2008
This contribution is one responsible gesture whereby the baptized take charge of the parish.  There are many volunteers but there is a financial need for the Church and graveyard upkeep, heating, pastoral personnel, etc.  The elders will be pleased to accept your contribution after Sunday mass during the month of April.  The office is open every Monday from 10 to 11:30 AM or can be sent in by mail.  Dues are $45.00/person and $80.00/family.  Thank you for your support and let us be proud of our Church as the gathering center of the community.

Thank You
The 2009 Class Trip Fundraising Committee of New Richmond High School would like to thank the community for the tremendous amount of support we have received with our fundraising efforts to date.

We would also like to remind everyone that we are looking for books for our Booksale in April and articles that can be sold at our garage sale in May; you can drop your items off at the Town Hall during regular business hours.  Thank you.

Cultural Showcase
Just a reminder that April 16th and 17th, the Cultural Showcase will be held at the Salle de Spectacles Desjardins in New Richmond.  Check out the SPEC for further details.

Recycling
Just a little reminder to everyone to keep recycling as much as you can, it means less garbage heading to the landfill sites.  Anything that has a recycling sign on it goes into your blue bin.  Newspapers, cardboard and yes, plastic bags, remember to put the bags together and tie it.  Rinse all of your food containers out, simply rinse them in cold water.  Make sure there is no food residue left, especially during warmer weather.  Thank You.

Notice from Alliance Telecommunications
As of June 21st, 2008 we are going to have to begin using all ten digits of a phone number to make a local call.
This is going to be the norm for all of Québec after that date.  For example if you are calling the Municipality you will have to dial 418-392-4042.  You can get more info. at www.10chiffres.ca.  Thank you.

Dépanneur St. Jules
The staff and owners of Dépanneur St. Jules would like to thank everyone who came out to our first Customer Appreciation Day.  We raised $118.00 for the Eagles Club.  Drop by and see some of the changes we are making to better suit your needs.  We have homemade soup and sandwiches available daily and new flavours of pizza.  We also have a new pop returns policy in effect; you must get the clear bags from us and sort your cans and bottles.  We are open 7 days a week from 6AM to 10PM.  We will be undertaking some renovations shortly, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank You.
